Transforming Math Education: Effective Pedagogy Strategies for Teaching Math - (How to teach Math)

Are you a math teacher looking for new ways to engage and inspire your students? Do you want to learn about effective math pedagogy that has been shown to be successful in the classroom? If so, you're in the right place. In this blog post, we'll explore the topic of effective math pedagogy and share some research-based instructional strategies that can help you become a more effective math teacher.

As a math teacher myself, I understand the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest research and pedagogical practices. In 2019, I had the opportunity to teach a course on how to teach math at Huzhou University. During this course, we discussed a range of effective math pedagogy strategies that are backed by research.

One such strategy is the use of manipulatives. Manipulatives are objects that students can physically manipulate to help them understand mathematical concepts. For example, you might use blocks or tiles to help students visualize fractions, or counters to help them learn addition and subtraction. Research has shown that the use of manipulatives can help students develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and increase their engagement and motivation.

Visual aids are another effective math pedagogy strategy. Visual aids include diagrams, graphs, charts, and other visual representations of mathematical concepts. These aids can help students see connections between different mathematical concepts and develop a more intuitive understanding of math. They can also help students who may struggle with more abstract concepts.

Collaborative learning is another research-backed instructional strategy that can be effective in teaching math. Collaborative learning involves students working together in small groups to solve problems and complete tasks. This can help students develop their communication and teamwork skills, as well as their ability to think critically and problem-solve.

Since teaching the course in 2019, I have transformed it into an online training course consisting of four chapters available at:
Each chapter contains comprehensive content and exercises designed to help you become an effective math teacher, including strategies for effective math pedagogy. With this online training, you can learn at your own pace and apply what you learn in your own classroom to help your students achieve their full potential in math.

In conclusion, effective math pedagogy is crucial to helping students develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and achieve success in math. By using research-based instructional strategies such as manipulatives, visual aids, and collaborative learning, you can engage and inspire your students and help them reach their full potential. If you're looking to enhance your math teaching skills, consider checking out our online training course for more in-depth information and exercises.

The Money You Never Knew You Had: Unclaimed Funds (*** Note from the Author)

*** This article is also posted on my book: "The Money You Never Knew You Had: A Comprehensive Guide to Unclaimed Funds" as a note from the Author.

or Google Play books

Do you ever feel like you're missing out on opportunities to save time and money because you don't have the right knowledge? As a foreign teacher in China for almost 5 years, I've seen firsthand how knowledge can transform lives. That's why I started my publishing business - to help spread knowledge and make the world a better place.

This book of mine is all about how to retrieve lost money that you may not even know you have! It's an easy process that you can do yourself for free with the right information. Many people are willing to help you retrieve lost money, but they often charge a finder's fee. While this is a legitimate business, you could save money by doing it yourself. I've already found myself $200 dollars (in Utah – see the picture below) and I am trying to help others retrieve lost money too (for free), and I want to help you too!

Now, you might be wondering why I'm offering this information for free. Well, it's simple: I love helping people, making new friends in the process, and promoting my publishing and teaching businesses. I'm not asking for anything in return, but if you want to show your appreciation, you can check out my other books or my teaching website. I have a variety of materials available for purchase, and even some free books you can download and review. Writing a simple review goes a long way to support author like me, and sometimes authors even give away books for free as part of a promotion, because of that many websites let you write a review without buying the book.

In the end, my goal is to spread knowledge and make the world a better place. As a teacher, I believe that knowledge is invaluable, and books are one of the best ways to learn. So don't let ignorance hold you back - get the knowledge you need to succeed! If not for you, you can always send as a gift for someone you care about. Books always make a great gift.

May I have the honor? to have your...

That question "May I have the honor?" was usually used from a man to ask a lady to dance. If he is acting that way, it means he wants the privileged to have such opportunity to dance with the lady. He will treat her well so that he may have another chance in future to dance with her again.

When I open my e-mail (probably it happens for you too) I have sometimes hundreds of junk e-mails, not all of them are junk some of them are interesting things I did subscribed, I can block, or unsubscribe them, but my e-mail provider as you can see in the picture keeps them on a separated folder, so it does not bother me so much, unless the subscription inundates my box of many e-mails every day. Actually, is the opposite, if they are sending me offers, I did subscribe for, I would love from time to time on that folder and see if I got something I would like to see or buy.

So I am going to ask you: "May I have the honor to have your e-mail ?". I hold a small publishing business and from time to time I do a promotion on a new book I am publishing, sometimes a book of my own or books that I have help from other writers, or even joint promotions with other Authors. If you like to read it can be a good deal for the following reasons:

● You will get free books in the exchange of a simple review you may leave on amazon or any other website like GoodReads or LibraryThing

● From time to time we run a Giveaway context where the prize is books or electronic devices for readers, like the kindle device from amazon.

● Because Authors like me are eager to find new readers, we sometimes get together with other Authors to run joint promotions and you would be among the first ones to know if you are subscribed to our e-mail list.

Education is the greatest investment someone can make in their own lives, and Books are the cheapest , and also perhaps among the best way to get educated about anything, to say nothing about you be getting books before releases, sometimes for free and from a good bargain from the Authors or Publishers themselves

● Because of the Nature of this business we would not be inundating your inbox with so much e-mail every day, after all a book takes sometimes to be written. So I am promising you would not feel annoyed with the quantity of e-mails we sent, if you do, you are more than welcome to unsubscribe (no problem here)

So, May I have the honor to have your e-mail ? If you accept my invitation please subscribe to my e-mail list here, and you will start to getting already some of my material for FREE as a way of me saying thank you for subscribing.
